Octopus has Identity Crisis

The frighteningly intelligent Indonesian Mimic Octopus can change both its shape and its behavior to fool both predators and prey. This aquatic trickster can imitate flounder, venomous lionfish, poisonous sea snakes, giant crabs (it then eats the crab), sting rays, jellyfish and even Mel Gibson (okay I made that last one up but it would be an effective scare tactic). It can also change color, texture and bury itself under the sand. The moral of the story: trust no one— it’s probably a mimic octopus.
