I can barely taste the sorrow in these mashed potatoes.”

Hoxton Street Monster Supplies has created a line of salts harvested from real human tears. They make salt from tears of anger, laughter and sorrow. Not weird enough? They’ve also got salt made from tears shed while chopping onions and while sneezing.

Fresh human tears are gently boiled, released into shallow crystallization tanks, and then harvested by hand and rinsed in brine. For about $50 you can add a pinch of laughter or angst to any meal.

It’s urban legend time. Except this story is a departure from the usual half man half monster myth – it’s about a violent lunatic known as Bunny Man. During an ill-fated transfer of psychiatric patients from one asylum to another, the vehicle crashed and one inmate escaped.

In the following weeks half-eaten rabbits were found hanging from trees. Local historian Brian Conley found two incidents of people who were threatened by an ax-wielding man in a bunny suit. On a side note, Bunny Man was the less-successful first mascot of Energizer Batteries, but for some reason he never improved sales.

The giant hornet is basically a scout for an invading army, and the honey bees deal with the threat by creating a kind of bee-driven easy bake oven.

The temperature in the hive reaches 117°F (the honey bees can survive 118°F heat, but the hornet dies at 115°F). And then it’s roasted hornet for dinner. My inner James Bond villain really wants to train a swarm to attack my many enemies.

Apparently his skin is so rough and dry that it prevents electricity from entering his body. So what does a shock-proof lightening-channeling man do for work these days? Fight crime right? Actually not— Ma Xiangang uses his powers for massage therapy.
